What qualifications do you require?
All positions require good computer and communications skills, that you be at least 18 years of age, be eligible to work in the U.S., possess a high school diploma or G.E.D., have stable job history and prior experience in an office setting.

What is the process in finding a job through A-Star Staffing?
A-Star Staffing is committed to assisting candidates in their job searches. Although we cannot guarantee job placements, we will do our best to consider each candidate for positions which they qualify based on their background and skills in conjunction with what our clients are seeking.
To be considered for any jobs we have available, you must:

What does temp, temp to hire and direct hire mean?
Temporary Job: A temporary job is only for a short duration (number of days, weeks, or months) which has the understanding that it will terminate. Temporary jobs can be full-time or part-time hours. Temporary jobs are used to help our clients with their temporary needs, i.e. to fill in for seasonal positions, cover for medical or maternity leaves, or to alleviate regular employees with a larger than normal workload. All associated payroll for temporary jobs is done through A-Star Staffing.
Temp-to-Hire: A temp to hire job is a temporary position that could potentially turn into a regular, full-time position should the client decide to extend an offer of employment once the contract ends. All associated payroll for temp-to-hire jobs are done through A-Star Staffing. If an offer of regular, full-time employment is offered and accepted, payroll will then be done through the client.
Direct Hire: A direct hire job is a position that occurs without a temporary position. Our clients will utilize A-Star Staffing to recruit qualified candidates to potentially fill their direct hire job. If the client selects you for a direct hire position, you will be the client’s direct employee from the first day of work. All associated payroll will be handled by the client.
